Step Parenting is HARDER
I'm a mom of 5 kids. Four are my own and one is my step-son.
He's 13. We used to get along just fine. Until about two years ago, when he decided to live with us. He decided to leave his moms house and he decided he wanted to go to school with my kids and play football on the same league as mine and all....great! We were so excited!
Once he started to live with us and have me as his "mom" he changed. He hardly sees his real mom now. In the last 6 months, he's gone to his moms ummmmmmm, about 7 days total? Everything I say is wrong, or he has some way to tell me that he's right. Even if it's 5 days later...he'll say, remember when you said "blah"? Well here's the proof that your wrong (as he shows me his phone with something from the Internet). I tell him he can't have sodas, but he says, my "MOM" let's me.
Today, I picked him up from school and he tells me he made his AR goal today, so I said, Yay! What is your goal anyway? He said it was 24, which is one point less than my 8 yr old who already made his goal of 25. So I said...Kaleb's is higher than yours, and laughed a little. So he didn't talk to me the rest of the way home and didn't even wait for the car to stop before he unbuckled his seatbelt and raced to get out of the car...yay me. :/

Hi! I don't know why I'm doing this. I have a friend who blogs about her daily life. I see other blogs of mothers sharing their parenting tips, recipes and beauty advice, feeling a little left out, I thought i'd give it a whirl.... I guess I should start somewhere.
I don't have any beauty advice. I have 5 children, but I don't think anything I do is any more fantastic than the everyday "Mom" stuff.
I love my family, as I said before, I have 5 kiddos! 4 boys and 1 girl! Yes, she is a princess and the boys annoy her as much as possible. I keep having to remind her that her brothers will someday want her and her friends around ALL THE TIME! (once those hormones kick in)
Now, the road that God gave me to get to this point...I was born in Los Angeles, CA. I have 4 sisters. My grandfather died when I was 11, then we moved to Northern California. It was a hard thing to do, going to a new school in the 7th grade is probably the worst thing for a pre-teen. But I'm still here, ready to share my adventures!
